Intertraffic Amsterdam has concluded a very successful 20th edition. During the opening ceremony the winners of the Intertraffic Innovation Awards were revealed. Awards were presented in six separate categories: ITS/Traffic Management; Parking; Safety; Environment; Cooperative Systems; and Infrastructure. The winner in the 'ITS/Traffic Management' category, Skymeter Corporation, was also recognised as the 'Overall Winner'.

New segments At the 20th edition of Intertraffic Amsterdam 2010 over 800 exhibitors from more than 40 countries - with virtually the entire top 50 global concerns in attendance - showed a comprehensive overview of the latest industry trends and developments. Intertraffic 2010 offered an even wider range of categories so as to ensure the most convenient segmentation possible for visitors. In addition to our regular segments of infrastructure, ITS traffic management, safety and parking, we had two new sections, Environment and Cooperative Systems.

New hall configuration Intertraffic 2010 had a different, extended hall configuration. The brand-new Elicium building was the central hub of the Intertraffic floor layout. The i&CDrive exhibition was integrated in Intertraffic Amsterdam 2010. Halls 9, 10 and 11 were dedicated to ITS traffic management products and services, with hall 9 forming the centre of Cooperative systems. Running parallel to the exhibition were numerous outdoor demonstrations, workshops and dedicated congresses.
