The unit, combining advance warning and impact protection, is mounted on a heavy vehicle and is meant to protect workers on mobile road sites.It combines a TMA with an elevating VMS, both fully automatically operated by remote control from the vehicle’s cabin. The VMS serves as an advance warning sign for the road users, and the TMA reduces the risks for the workers in case of an impact. The dynamic Retroreflektometer ZDR 6020 installed on a vehicle in order to measure the RL-values of road markings during the movement of that vehicle at normal traffic speed. The ZDR 6020 can be used for longer road distances than portable devices as well as in safety in particular on motorways when ZDR 6020 gives continuous measurements.
