	Outdoor demonstration area Outside the Amsterdam RAI venue will be a special demo area for equipment that is too large or impractical to be exhibited in the halls. From road signs to cone collectors, this is always a popular attraction among visitors. Technical Tour North-South-Line Expedition On Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 April you can visit the renowned North/South Line. This enormous project will provide Amsterdam with a new metro link and complete the city’s public transport network. It is employing both tried and tested and innovative technologies never previously used in an urban environment. The construction of the new metro line will be explained to you over the course of a 1.5-hour morning programme at Amsterdam Central Station. The tour starts at 09.15, leaving you sufficient time to visit Intertraffic 2008 later in the day. The excursions are fully booked. New applications will be added to a waiting list.
