Ensuring trust in autonomous EFC-systems
In autonomous EFC systems the OBE determines the amount to be paid to the toll charger. Whether the OBE can be trusted is therefore paramount, however current international standards do not prescribe a specific security architecture. We present a solution in terms of a Trusted Element inside the OBE.

Overview and first results of the mobility projects
This presentation addresses the first results of the mobility projects in the urban regions Rotterdam, Arnhem-Nijmegen and Haaglanden. Based on price incentives the projects try to decrease the number of car kilometres in rush hours, make motorists and employers more aware of possible options (telecommuting, public transport, earlier/later working hours) and assess motorist behaviour. The goal of the pilots was to have a real and lasting effect on travel behaviour and to improve accessibility in the Rotterdam, Arnhem-Nijmegen and Haaglanden regions. Case study: paid driving in the metropolitan area Amsterdam
In the spring of 2010 the metropolitan region Amsterdam will start a pilot called 'Paid Driving' in order to improve the accessibility of the region of Amsterdam. In a GPS-based system participants will pay for every kilometre driven on weekdays. The participants receive a monthly amount for this. In addition, the major roads to and from Amsterdam are subject to a rush hour surcharge. The trial is set up for 10,000 volunteers and is being conducted in phases. Organised by: Dutch Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Watermanagement and the City of Amsterdam

Travel information helps GPS-tolling
Around the cities of ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven, 3.000 volunteers will participate in a large Field Operational Test (FOT). Driving in the rush-hour is being priced (tolling) through a GPS system. This GPS-tolling system makes driving in the rush hour more expensive. This way the regional and national gouvernments want to learn how pricing affect travel behaviour of car-users.
